Cookie Policy

Which cookies Etyma sets, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change or withdraw your choice.

    1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a site stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember a preference between visits, keep a session alive, or measure how the site is used. Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage do comparable work, and this policy covers them too.

    2. How we ask for your consent

Analytics and advertising scripts load when you arrive, before you have answered the banner. Refusing turns them off: we set the opt-out flag, delete the cookies they created and reload the page so nothing of theirs keeps running, and they are not added to any page you visit afterwards.

The banner offers “Accept all” and “Reject all” with equal prominence, and refusing costs no more effort than accepting. Your choice is stored for six months, after which we ask again.

    3. The cookies we use

Essential cookies are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. Advertising cookies measure the performance of our campaigns.

Third parties may set additional cookies of their own once their scripts load. The names and durations above reflect what those providers document, and can change without notice on their side. Not every tracker uses cookies: Leadsy (vtag) identifies business visitors from the IP address alone, which the table cannot list.

    4. Changing or withdrawing your choice

Select “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page to re-open the banner. Choosing “Reject all” stops the analytics and advertising scripts loading and clears the cookies they have already set on this device.

Your browser can also block or delete cookies, and offers a per-site control for doing so. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

    5. Third-party cookies

The analytics and advertising cookies are set by Google and Meta, who act as separate controllers for some of that processing. Their practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy. We also load a script from Leadsy (vtag), which sets no cookie but receives your IP address; refusing stops it loading.

    6. Changes to this policy

When we add or remove a cookie we update the table above and the date at the top. A material change resets consent, and the banner appears again so you can make a fresh choice.
