Privacy Policy

    How Etyma Inc collects, uses and protects personal data across the Etyma website and platform, and the rights you have over it.

    1. Who is responsible for your data

    Etyma Inc, of The Green, 8, Dover, DE 19901, US, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

    For any privacy matter, including the requests described in section 8, write to privacy@betelytics.com.

    2. What we collect

    Data you give us

    • Account data: name, email address, company and the credentials you set.
    • Contact-form data: the name, email address and message you submit when you write to us.
    • Billing data: the plan you choose and the billing details you provide. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems.
    • Configuration data: the brands, prompts and competitors you ask the platform to track.

    Data collected automatically

    • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, collected from server logs so the Service can run securely.
    • Analytics and advertising data: collected by Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel. These load when you arrive and stop if you refuse — see section 4.
    • Business-visitor data: Leadsy (vtag) receives your IP address and the page you are on, and uses them to estimate which company a visit comes from. It sets no cookies on your device.

    We do not ask for special categories of personal data, and we ask you not to submit them through the platform.

    3. Why we use it, and our legal bases

    • To provide the Service, run your account and deliver the reports you configure — performance of our contract with you.
    • To take payment and prevent payment fraud — performance of our contract, and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud.
    • To answer messages you send us — our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
    • To keep the Service secure and diagnose faults — our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
    • To measure how the site is used, and to measure advertising — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
    • To send service messages about changes, incidents or renewals — performance of our contract.
    • To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.

    We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.

    4. Cookies and tracking

    Cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site are set without consent, as the law permits. Analytics and advertising scripts load when you arrive, before you have made a choice, and keep running unless you refuse them. Refusing removes them and the cookies they set.

    You can accept, refuse or later withdraw consent from the banner, which is reachable at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops the scripts loading and clears the analytics and advertising cookies already on your device. The full inventory is in our Cookie Policy.

    5. Who we share data with

    We share personal data with the service providers below, each of which processes it on our instructions and under a contract that restricts what they may do with it.

    We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to a buyer in connection with a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.

    6. International transfers

    Etyma Inc is established in the United States, and the providers listed above process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK Addendum, together with the additional safeguards those clauses require.

    A copy of the safeguards used for a particular transfer can be requested at privacy@betelytics.com.

    7. How long we keep it

    • Account and configuration data: for as long as your account is open, and up to 90 days after it closes.
    • Contact-form messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
    • Billing records: up to 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
    • Server logs: up to 12 months.
    • Analytics data: as governed by the retention set in Google Analytics, and no longer than 14 months.

    When a period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

    8. Your rights

    Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you have the right to:

    • ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
    • have inaccurate data corrected;
    • have data erased where we no longer have grounds to keep it;
    • ask us to restrict processing while a concern is resolved;
    • receive data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format;
    • object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests;
    • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it.

    To exercise a right, write to privacy@betelytics.com. We answer within one month, and will say so if a request is complex enough to need longer. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

    9. Security

    We use encryption in transit, restrict access to personal data to staff who need it, and rely on established providers for hosting and payments. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the measures appropriate to the risk, and we will notify you and the relevant authority of a breach where the law requires it.

    10. Children

    The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data; if you believe a child has given us data, write to privacy@betelytics.com and we will delete it.

    11. Changes to this policy

    We update this policy as the Service changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we give notice by email or in the product before a material change takes effect.

    12. Contact
